Gotta package from emnpaul yesterday.
Love the protective packaging. Do I wear the Wing Defence bib while opening?

Thought you'd get a laugh out of it.

Hope this works. I'm still no good at tapatalk.
Scary shit opening this beer. Thought it would explode in my face.
To me it is carbed exactly how all others of this style I've tried have been.
Nice beer Paul. Thanks

Hang in there Tipsy, you've not been forgotten.
I now have almost enough space in the brewery to reconstruct it after our move, so should be back to brewing soon, although a trip to Europe in the next few weeks will interfere again.

Thanks for the kind words Tipsy. I'd have been seriously gutted if you preferred the VB.

In Western Australia they refer to VB as "Visitor's Beer". That's funny, because I refer to Emu Bitter as "f---ing Shit".
Give a man a beer and he wastes an hour. Teach a man to brew and he wastes a lifetime.

Had a couple of bottles from Warra turn up yesterday.
I have put them away to settle for a while. Cheers Warra, I'll let you know how they go down.

Tried your Porter Warra, very nice, roasty.
Probably right on the line between a Porter and a stout.
If I had to pick a fault it may have been a little overcarbed, but it still went down really well with lamb shanks slow cooked in red wine and stout.
Cheers
