How close to a Poll on Colour/Type of shirt are we ?

Ed the T-Shirt Guru seems to think Blue or Black.

i'd start one but i don't have a clue as to how...

No guru yard, just the most 2 popular colours that I print on. Reckon nearly 70% of the shirts I do are black but then again, most of them are for the bogan market (already do heaps of beer shirts, the kind you see at the markets).

I'm open to any suggestions, and also quite like the 2 tone ones that grabman suggested. The thing is though, if we get fancy with the shirts, it might up the cost a little so if everyone just bears that in mind.

What about a design?

Cheers, Ed

how about the O&GHB&B Logo plus we (members) all post a pic of our best brew in our favourite glass.
Run a Poll, pick the favourite and transfer to the shirt.

just an idea, thought this would please everyone by giving all some input into the design.

feel free to shoot me down in flames

OK, here's the deal:

1. Say what colour you want. I'd be keen on white, I've gotta say. What other colours could you suggest, Ed?

2. Suggest a slogan for the back and front (or just one or the other). If you like one that's already been suggested in this thread, then please say so.

3. If you feel like doing a design with your slogan on it, either post it here or send it to me and I'll post it.

Then we'll run a poll of the options and get people to vote.

Sound fair?

Gee, white is the least popular colour these days  . The snow marle is a little better (a light grey with a fleck through it) and I think you can get those in a 2 tone shirt which actually looks quite classy but still casual, with say having the sleeve colour in navy.

Yard I do like the idea but if we go with photographic representation, it makes for some expense especially for a short run. To match the logo colours, we'd have 2 spot colours there and then another 4 colours for the process colours required to recreate the photo. Then there'd be 6 films to make also. And if we go on a cloured shirt, then add another colour for a base white.

Looks like we're getting closer anyway now that Oliver has made the 3 points. Should be fun seeing what replies come back :). I reckon limit the time and have a cut-off so as not to drag it out.

Cheers, Ed

I like these shirts that grabman suggested. Reckon the Navy/Gold one shown in the pic would work with the gold in the O&GHB&B logo.

Grab, you have better dress sense that Oliver, ask his Mrs

I like the sugestions gentlemen.
How about something like this then grabman and Friar? This ones 3 cols front & back which makes 6 screens in total. Front & back is going to cost me a bit more in materials, but can cut down on colours if it gets too exy. Also, those shirts will be a bit more but if we get enough people wanting one, it could still end up about the same I hope.
Logo would be too small to print if it was only badge size on the tit. I think it needs to go across the chest and have the word "Member" on the tit. Could look around for a beer glass image. Should be something suitable in my existing artwork files.

Cheers, Ed

Black is for bogans!
I like the white Oliver suggested.
Also tan, olive all the earthy colours look great with prints.
Kind of retro looks.
Ed the pic of the white and blue sleeve shirt looks Ok.
I work in an animation studio with about 250 cartoonists. If you guys are interested I'll get a few designs and post them.
But really only if we are interested in a caracter design. The guys hear are some of the best in the world.
Let me know if you are interested.....

Also IMHO I like the HB&B logo it works for me.
Great ideas guys....
Cheers

White shirt with navy sleeves looks good.

I also like your second suggestion on the print Ed. The one Grabman suggested.

Cheers

something deep inside my black t-shirt is alarmed about where this conversation is going

are bogans no longer welcome here?

Mr preference would be for either the balck/yellow two-toned shirt or the ashe/yellow grab suggested originally. Snow marle is we go with one colour.

How about in addition to the writing including both the full and empty beer glasses that appear on the forum for read/unread posts? Either next to each other or one on the front and one on the back.

this would be my choice on the navy with yellow sleeves, maybe run with silks idea of an image or the beer glass that appears on the home page.
