maturing kegs temperature

Post by randomiser »

Hi all and merry christmas. Can anybody tell me the best way to mature kegs? Will they mature at cold temperatures or not. I have a few american ales that have been filtered and carbed that are in my serving fridge set at 6 degrees. Should I take them out if that will mature them quicker?

Seeing as it is already carbonated, leave it in the fridge. It will mature fine at 6c. The only reason for removing it from the fridge would be a lack of fridge space.
