I have just done a Coopers pale Ale and added some honey.
I plan on bottling it tomorrow but then only have until the 22nd of September before I have to submit one bottle for judging in a home brew competition I am in.

Is 10 days enough time for the beer to have finished doing its thing? The ambient temp here is around 28C.

I do already have a Coopers lager that was bottled 2 weeks ago and tastes okay but we can submit two bottles for judging so I wanted to enter two different types into the competition.

It will certainly be drinkable. Whether it's at its peak is another matter entirely.

But it will certainly be in a state where you can enter it in the competition and have the judges make their decision.

Yes I have already tasted the first batch which was a Coopers Lager. Me and the guys at work tried some on Friday night. Wasnt too bad but a little bitter after taste. Probably be better in a few months time. This second batch is a Coopers Pale Ale with honey added. It certainly smelt good when bottling and seemed to be more frothy than the lager. I had the temp lowered whilst brewing, down to 26C so Im hoping it will be ready by the time I have to put it in for judging on Thursday 24th.

I will post a couple of pictures of the competition and the winning beer, especially if its me although I doubt it.
