Beer infected

Hi everyone, I bottled a brew a couple of weeks ago, but before I did, I took the lid off the keg for a look (not sure why). I noticed that there was a white film on top of the brew, kind of like tissue paper. I bottled the brew anyways.
My question is, is it safe to drink? It does not smell off, I poured some in a glass the other day and it did not taste off (although it was warm). In the necks of some of the bottles, it looks like there is a little sediment floatin gon the top. Seems a shame to waste a whole batch-especially since I don't have anything at the moment...
Thanks for your help,
John
