Coopers' pot glasses

Post by undercover1 »

From, um, "acquiring" a nice set of these over the past few months, I know they come with various coloured logos- gold, sparkling ale red & pale ale green- does anyone know of any other colours? A brown for the dark ale, maybe?
Need locations for confirmed sightings in Melbourne, so I can try and "acquire" the full set.
Salut!

well, this topic went flat as a warm Beez Neez in a dirty VB glass...but anyway, was trawling the official Coopers site today & spotted these- http://www.coopers.com.au/store/viewPro ... oductID=61, at $13.50 plus GST the pair!
At several establishments I frequent, you can get a Coopers glass for $3.20, and it's full of pale ale as well.

I know a few places that have that price as well... only they kind of frown on people taking the glass home with them

Tooheys Dry (crap beer I know, I avoid it) has a promo about people swiping glassess to promote that it is now on tap. Dont recall the details and can't be arsed looking them up. glass patrol or something.

Cheers,

I saw a Smart car in Melbourne the other day decked out with "Glass recovery unit" and other crap all over it. Couldn't work out what the story was until it was mentioned above that Tooheys Extra Dry is now on tap.

I don't want to drink it from a bottle, and I'm sure as hell not going to drink that crap on tap.

I was given a tap Tooheys Dry last week at a Christmas party. Not as bad as from the bottle, but still not good.

Cheers,

Gotta admit Tooheys Extra Dry isn't the worlds best but it's still a damn sight better than VB, Melbourne Bitter and some other beers that defy description.
