What do you do when not brewing (ie work)

Post by MHD »

So I noticed some It nomenclature thrown around before...

So, out of pure curiosity of what people are drawn to home brewing, what do people do for a crust?

I am a food scientist/production analyst for the good people that bring you beans and katchup.

I was a Naval Officer and then an Environmental Scientist. Who knows what I will be when I grow up.

tyrone,

I think (although I try to avoid it), I know Dogger will correct me if wrong that you carbonate the keg either naturally or with CO2 and use the NO2 to dispense the brew.

Grab

(I'm not the domestic engineer, I'm a lion tamer, psychologist, prison warder, mathematician, geographer, ah bugger it I'm a teacher!!)

Personally, I try not to think too much about my "other" (ie, non-brewing) life.

Nitrous Oxide and Nitrogen are not the same. So don't try it.

Grab is doing it the way I was told, Dissolve CO2 first then add Nitrogen later, at the tap. be warned, Nitogen isn't very soluble in beer

Am an umemployed Accountant who now works in a Girls High School doing the maintenance.

AND, it's a hell of a lot better than the 60 to 80 hours a week I did as an accountant. Get to work at 7.00am and leave at 3.00pm, no stress, no pressure and easy work......I love it.

Well there is one thing the poll shows: Home Brewing attracts a broad range of people... (of course this poll is no where near conclusive as people must be at least slightly computer savy to vote)

Production manager for a company that specializes in marketing for voluntary sporting clubs, but don't charge a fee for our services.

In return they get all their Sporting apparell, and equipment through us. We also do promotional products (stubbie holders etc)and corporate uniforms. Embroidery, screen print, vinyl transfers, pad print and sublimation print. More or less, If You can put your name on it, we can do it.

I've seen the t-shirt thread, thought i'd keep a little quite till i fit in and have a bit more "cred". But the question was asked......
