Although it might not exactly be a bargain for your wallet, it is for beer lovers.
Vintage Cellars in Newtown currently have a quickly depleting supply of Aventinus Eisbock (bottle numbered series).
Going at 11.99 per bottle, and a must try if you have never had it before it is without a doubt the most complex [and best], intense dark wheat beer in the world.

11.99 per bottle
Is that a 750ml?
Cheers,

Correct! Eisbock is 330ml (3.1SDPB). In fact, i'm drinking one right now (from my 2 cases

). Bottle number is; 048754.
This is of course, next to my 30 double magnums of 2002 Chimary Grande Reserve.
DARK BEERS UNITE!

Double Magnum is a 3L bottle
Largest bottle I've ever seen is a Nebuchadnezzar in the historical display at Seppeltsfield, holds 15L and is the largest normal wine bottle. Sparkling wine bottles get as large as the Sovereign at 25L.

Could almost stand a fork up in it
