gday all

what do you listen to whilst knocking up the latest bucketful ?

just lately it's been Kings of Leon, but prior to that a lot beer was made to, ' Toward the Blues ' by Chain. (top aussie band).

i'm sure it affects the character of your beer,

i brewed an Ale once whilst listening to Elvis,
within a week of opening the first bottle I had gained 67kg and constantly wore a white Jumpsuit with a sequined Eagle on the back.

only joking Elvis fans and Impersonators, no offence...

seriously, i'd be interested to know what tunes strike the chord when Brewing.

Had JJJ going during today's brewing session. Cannot recall what they played.

Cheers,

I play music for my beer all the time, it annoys my wife to no end as well, so I guess it has two purposes.

I believe it makes a big difference, My beers get to listen to a full range of music from Bowie to Bedowin Sound Clash

does all this happen in the renowned Cellar?

A Cellar with 2000 watts of Surround Sound, how sh!t hot would that be?

Yard,

In the Basement, we age wine in the cellar, it gets no music.

Part of my bottling ritual is that I must, absolutely must play Hank Williams greatest hits while bottling. No joke. It has driven several brew assistants nuts, especially a couple of very gothic friends of Mrs Undercover.
"Can't we put on something else?" "No." "But, but we have the new I F__ Scary Dead Zombie Sheep CD here, it's really cool, honest". "No. We've only heard Your Cheating Heart 3 times anyway."
Usually followed by Tom Waits or noisy old punk when the work is done and the HB gets flowing.

I forgot about Tom Waits, he does Waltzing Matilda in the basement every now and again. The kids love it although the youngest often sings "Down came a Jam Bucket to play a game of Ping Pong"

He is only four and doesn't really know what all the words mean so he makes them up as he goes along.
