Ok, I have a wile before I will start Brewing this one but I want to make a clone of a beer that the missus really loves (always good)

Now are there many Kiwi or Kiwi ex pats on this board?

There is a brewery in Christchurch called the Dux DeLux that make a particularly fine pale ale... I cant remember the taste very well but Lousie describes it as "A very solid pale ale" (not much help! :) )

So what I am looking to do is to make a extract with some grain pale ale that is not heavily hop driven (like Little creatures) but is quite "Grainy"...

anyone got any good extract+grain recipes they wish to share?

Not knowing the particular beer you are referring to, I'll give you my best guess.

3kg liquid pale malt
500g crystal (mash)
250g dextrose
hallertrau bittering (to personal taste)
herzbrucker or maybe cascade for aroma

Hope this helps. I may go brew this myself!

If only someone could go through it and convert all the dodgy seppo units to metric. (Although I am getting good at dividing by 2.2 etc)

Cheers,
