This is a real ripper although I must admit I got the recipe from the blokes at Mark's Home Brew (Islington).
Think Tooheys Old meets JS Porter meets Coopers Dark Ale.
1 Can Newcastle Brown Ale (Brewcraft)
1 Can Liquid Amber Malt (Black Rock)
250g Light Chocolate Malt (steeped 15min)
15g Willamette (steeped 15min)
Yeast as supplied
21L
Cheers,
Jay.

Jay made the recipe you suggested and it is sinsational!
I ended up going with this
1 can Brewcraft Newcastle Brown Ale
1.5kg Liquid Amber Malt
250g Chocolate Malt - 30min steep
200g Rolled Oats - 30min steep
300g Coopers Brew Enhancer # 1
12g Fuggles hops @ 10mins
The beer is pretty dark - and has a real roasted chocolate / grainy.
I may need to cut back on the chocolate - but it's great all the same!
Cheers
