Superautomatica vs. Ferrari Cappers

Post by JaCk_SpArRoW »

What is the general feeling of the 2 different bench cappers?
Are there any good or bad differences between the 2?

Only ever used the Superautomatica and it is the ducks guts IMHO...

The only thing better would be a keg system

I use Grolsch swing tops, Bundy Ginger Beer bottles & Coopers PET

Screw it or swing it!

Life is too short for capping

You need a keg option in there Jack.

Get some kegs and throw your capper away. ('cept when you need it for girlie drinks, like mead for the wife)
There is no such thing as bad beer. There is only good beer and better beer.

I won't go on about the advantages of kegging over capping.
As a reformed bottle washer and capper I would start to sound like a refromed smoker or a born again whatever.

I use a Brigalow capper. Purchased from Coles for < $40 at the time. Works as well as the Superautomatica I borrowed from my father in law before I had mine.

I saw one at BigW for $45 bucks, they seem much more expensive everywhere else. I think I'll give this one a shot.

Havn't seen em at coles.
