Whenever I get a coopers pale or sparkling, the bar guy always rolls it....
should I tell him to stop? I was told to just not drink the bottom few cm's.: and it'd taste better...
What's the proper thing to do?

taste both, decide which you like. Rolling a beer such as coopers which has the sediment in the bottom stirs it up a bit and, in my opinion, rounds out the flavour of the beer very nicely.

That's how I learned to drink the Coops. Old bottles of course. Tip it upside down, allow the sediment to get 3/4 down and make upright again. Then open. Is it just me, or are there other brothers outh there who like sediment?

If he rolls clockwise, insist he roll anti-clockwise and vice versa. Just to be a smarty, reall makes no difference rolled left or right.

you have to drink the sediment out of a Paley or Sparkling
if you are drinking a stubby and they dont roll it, no problem as it gets mixed in after the first mouthful anyway

i like my beer clear so i try not to get the sediment in the glass. However i drink the sediment though as a chaser. mmm tasty, just doesn't give me a clear drink.

If drinking Coopers, I drink the sediment. I won't drink it out of most of my HBs though.

I a fan of rolling commercial coopers bottles too
I reckon it does make it taste better
Not sure sometimes that it improves some of the homebrews
