If you want an excuse for raising a glass containing something nice then here's one:
My wife has just given birth to our second child - a girl weighing in at 4.43Kg (that's 9lbs 12oz), so it should be a *big* glass!
Myself, I'm enjoying a Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.
Cheers,
Tom

Good onya Tom, mate I would be careful what I fed her if I was you, My son was 10lb something twenty five years ago, now he's six foot tall 'bout 110kilos and can carry a toyota landcruiser home from the pub if he's had too many to drive!!!
Congratulations....I would assume everybody is OK, can't help you out too much with the celebrations, the quack took me off the slops a couple of days ago!

Thanks. Yes, all are well, though we're all pretty tired. A large baby like that takes some getting out!
Too bad about the quack. Better have a nice glass of lemonade (I go for Tarax black label in the lemonade stakes - it's much less sweet than most brands).

Congrats Tom,
I'll have a few and drink to everyone's health.
They say the second's easier, but I only have one, so can't say I know.
How about a pic?

I'd gladly give a pic, but I don't have a spot to host it from.
In this case, the second took longer than the first, and our first was at the small end, where as this one is at the big end.
