Howdy all.
Does anyone have a recipie for a caffreys clone?
I know brewcraft have a kit available, but i'd rather know what i'm putting in it rather that a #70 kit which could have anything...

I did the kilkenny version just recently, turned out alright.

maybe sneak into a brewcraft selling HBS & sneak a read of the packet of a #70 kit - the kit in the kilkenny box was 1kg & listed dex, corn & LDME so I would assume it'd be quite similar to Coopers brew enhancer #2 which is 500gm dex, 250gm corn & 250gm malt.

It would be unlikely that they'd have more than 250gm of corn, so maybe the dex could be lower & the malt higher?

I guess there could be lactose or something else in #70? a read will get you that little bit closer to reverse engineering it
