could anyone give me a rough idea as to how much homebrew shops sell new longneck bottles for, cheers

Don't know about homebrew shop prices...but our local Big W store was selling good 'ole glass longnecks....again don't know / can't remember a price though...sorry!!!

There was a thread earlier that mentioned going to the local recycling depot and you could get them for free.

Spoke to the guy at my HBS. He said about $12 for a dozen. Was thinking of investing myself so I can have a couple of bottles for each keg I do. Is this what you do Dogger ?

That's the way I go, generally a keg and 2 to 3 bottles from a brew.

...and yeah, nice setup you've got there Grabman. I like the idea of the internal and external gas lines. Might rip that idea off myself

go for your life Evo, whack em up for the world to see.
The external gas line is a real bonus when cleaning kegs! Don't need to leave fridge open etc and with long line on beer gun can shoot all the crap straight outside and down the drain!
