Is there any benefit in storing around 7 deg C for lagers?

I'm not set up with fridges, second fermenters etc, but I do have a shed that stays around 7 Deg through winter. Is it worth putting my lagers there? Will I get the c.c. effect over time?

Lagers started by being stored in caves in Europe and they say a mans shed is his cave.

But seriously you will achieve lagering not just CC for your lagers if you store them for an extend time at those temps it is not an aggressive lagering but it is lagering.

Best lagering is at 1-3*C but anything colder than fermentation temp is supposed to help as far as i know!

My Lagers stay in secondary in fridge anywhere from 1 month - 3 months at 1*. Very tasty
7* should help a bit.
