Canadian Blonde with lime

I don't know if I have just comitted an offence against the beer gods but I made up a Canadian Blonde like this.
Coopers Canadian Blonde
1kg Brew Booster
250g honey
Zest and juice from one small lime
Can yeast (Yes, I can heard the collective cyber shudders for using the can yeast but.....)
To be honest, after I put it in the fermenter I though I would definitely find a similar recipe using the search (nobody show me up with their search skills please) but didn't. The only references I found to lime were for the Mexican Cerveza.
I am hoping the lime zest and juice will combine nicely with the honey to give a refreshing but not too heavy swetness to the beer. My worst fear now is I've just made 23 litres of lime and honey throat soother for those winter colds (hang on that's not too bad - medicinal beer!).

you won't notice the honey - it may make your beer a little dryer - but it is almost fully fermentable
also the lime won't be too noticeable
it should be good
cheers
this was my attempt

I would think that you would need 5-6 limes to make a great difference, 1 probably wont be noticable

Leave them out.
You need to boil the zest to extract the oils and kill any bacteria on the rind. Sorry guys I am pretty anal over bacterial infections. I use lime and orange zest all the time and.................Ready for this...........Honey
Dogger

Edit 1/2/08......I think I was being sarcastic when I said that

....ie Dogger and honey go hand in hand

Drinking this one now. It is very, very nice. Light body with definite honey and lime overtones.
