Hiya,
Sorry about the general post but I thought it the best way to grab the man's attention.
Aussie Claret - I noticed you had a Golden Ale kegged and I was wondering what your recipe is.
I'd love to have a go at one myself.

lol
I like your style,
The recipe was an AG and I will post it for you when I get the chance, but I'm away for the next few days.
I've done two both were very nice same grist in both but different hops/schedule. I have had excellent comments on both.

For us K&K n00bs I have made a golden ale of sorts several times..
Grab a American Ale (I use ESB) or Pale Ale Kit and add 30gm Amerillo + 20 gm Cascade hops and simmer for 15 mins then strain into yer kit. I also add a bit extra Amerillo when racking...
mmmm amerillo
Not as good as Aussie Clarets im sure but its a easy great tasting summer ale

Ok As promised, I've attached both recipes one using amarillo and the other a mix of Cascade and Nelson Sauvin Hops.
I enjoyed the beers as I hope you will and I would make both again.

Hey AC,
I hear you are brewing this weekend and was wondering if you would mind an apprentice brewer hanging around for a couple hours ? If so day and time?
