I was cleaning my fermenter & tap for another brew today and noticed some colour between the turning bit and the body. Is this a problem with bugs??
Can you get the turning part of the tap fermenter out of the body of the tap without wrecking it?

Thats not to much of a concern, if its what i think it is then its probably just a stain, run hot water through the tap and steralise and if this doesnt kill the bugs then nothin will

i noticed this lately as i left my fermenter dirty for too long. I soaked my tap in napisan for a while and it came up ok . Sanitized as normal afterwards.

I believe it is something to be concerned about. After all it is in contact with the beer.
I soak all my taps in bleach when not in use & prefer to throw them out when they stain. Last time I bought new taps I think I paid $1.50 a piece from Bunnings.
They can however be taken apart for cleaning. The method in this link seems to work.

Just don't microwave 'em.... (to kill the bugs, that is)
Those rubber seals give a nice light show!!
