O.K. Normally I am pretty laid back when it comes to spelling, punctuation and grammar, but I have to act before a new fad becomes mainstream.
I have noticed some really poor use of the '2' word lately.
Homophones....to, two, too.
Unless there has been a 'o' drought lately, I want to suggest that when using phrases such as, "I like it '2' ", it has to be the 'too' '2'!
I like beer too.
I use malt too.
I can spell too.
Let me hereby offer a spare 'o' to all those posters who have neglected including their little friend, and write things like:
"..if that is to much flavour".
"..after a few to many home brews".

Maybe we should all just let everyone write the way they want and interperet the posts the way they are written and not spelt, This may also be a good idea tooooooooo

I think you typed this after
TOO many brews

and/or marking 100 test papers.
I am pretty anal when it comes to my posts.
I check mine all the time as typing errors are easy.

I think that maybe the ACT is having a pretty bad effect on you.
A lot of good people go to this black hole and come back politicians or worse.
Perhaps you should move as by this post it is starting to have an adverse effect on you twoooooooo.
Sit back relax and have another one or tooooooo.
Cheers
Reg

I don't teach English as such....
Anyway, everyone has their pet peeve. My cousin can't stand pictures that are not hung straight. He goes around re-arranging all the time.
Some people can't stand Celine Dion music, me, I get narked at the mis-use of '2'.
I could’nt kare lhess how badlee peeplol spel or wot they're gramma is lyke.
As for you Reg, you don't live anywhere by the look of it.
Canberra is a cracking place, occasionally visited by the wankers that everyone else sends here (pollies).
More good craft brewers in Canberra than anywhere else in Australia as well
Anyway, to each their own, just watch your 2's!

Nice one Lethal
Canberra is a cracking place, occasionally visited by the wankers that everyone else sends here (pollies).
We send the pollies there as we do not want them here
Do you really think anyone wants Tony Abbott or Peter Costello in their neighbourhood?
