I've decided to do a Coopers Lager next because it was the first brew I did a few years ago and I want to put into practise everything I've learnt and make an ordinary lager mix into something that tastes a bit better.
So, love to hear your ideas! Only things hard and fast are the mix and the fact I need to use ale yeast as I don't have great temp control. (Brew 18-22).
Be interested to hear opinions on all malt too!!

I recently did a Coopers Lager. It's not ready for drinking yet but it tasted fine out of the fermenter. I can't remember the exact make up but I used Hallertau hops and double fermentables (1kg of dry malt and 1kg of Coopers brewing sugar I think).

?
maybe
1 x coopers aussie lager
1kg tin of morgans wheat malt (or 1 kg morgans Extra pale liquid malt).
500grams of dex or light dry malt (depends what you want)
at least 1 x 12gram cascade finishing hops teabag (I like 2)
or
1 x coopers aussie lager
500 grams honey
500 grams light dry malt
2 x cascade f/hops (boil one for 30+ mins with half of the malt)
for my obscure tastes various ones I have done with either all liquid malt or light dry malt needed something especially some more bittering and aroma hops.
I am a big fan of little creatures pale ales style(s).
Not really a big fan of the coopers australian lager though I liked their wheat beer.
The best colored ones in my opinion are the Canadians, so light
and really nice with honey + cascade hops.
Cheers
