Dear beerlovers,

Maybe some of you already know us but for those who don't, we're a Belgian beerclub and our purpose is to taste each month several beers we have never tasted before. We also gives the beers a quotation.

Till now we have tasted more than 100 beers. Maybe that don't seem much for most people who visit this site but anyway, you can always take a look at our complete beerlist at http://www.clubsjarel.com

And who knows, maybe you'll find some beers that YOU have never tasted before!
On top of our list stands - maybe not surprisingly - the westvleteren 12 (from which we have more than 70 bottles in stock), the Westmalle tripel and Duvel which may be a surprise for most of you, but not for us because Duvel is a very popular beer in Belgium.

Anyway, let us know what you think about our list and be free to leave a message on our guestbook.

Cheers,

Club Sjarel International

I like it, but you need to add some Australian beers to your taste list.

Try some Coopers beers, and perhaps James Squire and Mountain Goat

Witte konijn? Haha, sounds funny

In the future we hope to taste some australian beers, but they are hard to get in Belgium.... :(

I got a dutch friend of many years to translate for me

Yeah its hard to get the good Australian beers inside Australia sometimes, let alone outside! I know Coopers exports to the USA and the UK, but not so certain about continental europe.

You know, we don't know much about australian beers but we've heard of Australia being an beercountry....so we're curious about it.

But the only australian beer we can get here is....Fosters!!!

Anyway, if you're ever planning to come to Belgium....please contact us and we'll see what we can do...

Cheers

Good luck finding an Australian who drinks Fosters. I'm in England right now and I can't believe the amount of people who get Fosters, especially when there is Stella on the tap next to it.

G'day Haggis,

How does the Fosters in UK compare with our version in Aus? Have heard that the UK version is far superior. And it would want to be IMHO.

They are not real beer drinkers IMHO, how the hell could you choose fosters when there is stella on offer

I can't bring myself to drink it, just a matter of principle. I've heard the same thing. Maybe I should try it just to see. But I don't think Fosters deserves me contributing one bit to their profits.
