I put the following down last night. It's going off like nobody's business after 24 hours.
Blackrock IPA 1.5kg
Dex 525g
Corn Syrup Dry 250g
LDME 200g
Brown Sugar 200g
Wheat Malt 175g
Cracked Crystal 250g steeped with 12g Goldings.
OG 1044
Yeast is a recultured Coopers Pale Ale.
You might guess that I'm excited about this ....

And bottled at FG 1008 yesterday.
Bulk primed with 180g dex disolved in about 1/2 litre of water which had had another 12 grams of hallertuer steeped in it.
Never been accused of knowing what I was doing, so we'll see ....

Keep us posted on the flavour. Did you taste it out of the fermenter at bottling?
I'll take a punt that it will be a rather sweet beer as you had 1350g of added sugars and Fg 1008. I had a similar tally with the Canadian Blonde I'm currently drinking. It's a damn good beer with fantastic fine carbonation. The head is foam rather than cream but that's OK. It is a bit too sweet though.
Cheers, Geoff.

That will probably be sweet without some hops to round it out.

Thanks guys for the encouragement.
This was an attempt to do something along the lines suggested by my local HBS. I didn't copy exactly but used bits and bobs left over from previous brews. That said, it was my first play with added hops and steeping grain.
I think I'll try to give this as long in the bottle as possible before trying it but realistically, I think I'll be getting stuck into it around chrissy.
