Hey All,
Cheers for all the great advice over the last couple of months. Gotta love this hobby.
I was just about the bottle a Dog Bolter clone, and I was thinking of filling up the fermenter with another brew, but with what I've got lying around. One more brew down before Xmas.
2 Cans Coopers Stout
1 Can Brew Craft Lager
1 or 2 Kg of Light Dried Malt
SAFale yeast
filled to say 23L.
What do you guys think? I suppose I'm just including the Lager Can because I can - & I'm too lazy to go to the HBS.
Am I wasting my time by tryong to use all the leftover ingredients?
3 Can brew??

I used one of my kept samples of Wyeast 1728 Scottish Ale, because it was suggested as a good yeast for "any high gravity ales".
Tasted pretty good out of the fermenter, in that it was not syrupy, but it had a big kick in the aftertaste from the hops, which is why I set her out to mellow down some. I'll probably try the first one on boxing day, 3 months in the bottle.
Recipe was 3x Bi-Lo Lager, 500g LDME, 500g WDME, 1kg dextrose, 250g Vienna minimashed, 150g crystal and 80g chocolate steeped. Hops were 15g Nelson Sauvin @ 60m, 15g Glacier @ 10m, 10g Nelson Sauvin 10g First Gold @ 5m, 15g First Gold dry hopped. OG = 1.120 FG = 1.028
