Sometimes we have had enough (yes there is such a thing) beer for the moment. What is your too much beer drink?

Rum, coke, twist of lime.
I will be talking to Captain Morgan and fighting with my shadow all night
Been a long time since I have been to that point mind you

I go straight to bed. And once I've decided I need bed, nothing will stop me.
Speaking of such, I have a friend who has a habit of just falling asleep wherever he is when he's had too much.
Well, he works as an adviser to a government minister and at the staff Christmas get-together the year before last had a few too many at the minister's house and fell asleep in the (empty) bath.
But I guess that's not as bad as the staffer who had too many drinks at an official dinner and spewed under the table the minister was sitting at. Classy.
You probably didn't need to know that.
Sorry.

Bugga! I was, I think, first to vote but didn't comment. I reckon these polls should be more liberal - Like:
1. I start on beer;
2 Go to Scotch;
3. Go to (quality) red wine; and
4. Go to sleep.
ps: I'm often lucky enough to have one, or five waitresses lean on me during the above process. They THINK I'm harmless.

depends where I am;
if at home I'm likely to open a nice Margaret River Red and grab some cheese to go with it;
if out at a party then it depends what I can locate in the hosts cupboards

;
if at the pub then probably bourbon, unless my wife happens to be working in which case I'm lucky if she'll serve me, she has to deal with the morning after

Rain,
You must have a fat head day after swilling the demon red.
I know I can hardly live with myself

Actually, I'm rather partial to the fine Canadian Whiskey (Crown Royal, not that CC stuff), but I voted Irish Whiskey, since I'm big on Jameson too (often gets combined with Guinness for Car bombs). AND you get a cool purple velvet bag with every bottle of Crown!

You are right Dogger - one glass of quality red ordinarily leads to not less than three shared bottles with a Mate. We hope we a talking quietly in my back-yard.
I never suffer the next day though - it's usually 48 hours later, when I'm as dry as a .................... .

Got to be a red or an Irish Whiskey.
