G'day again men.
I have just put down a Coopers Stout as per the kit but just used the Coopers Brewing Sugar, rather than one of their other products.
(Very much a novice, but read here when I get the chance to try and learn some things)
Has anyone done this also? And how have they found the results?
This brew is for a mate but I will definitely be keeping a few bottles for winter.

Anyway, after that I have a Coopers Draught kit ready to go.
I had bought some of the Brewiser liquid brewing sugar and was going to use that instead of the sugar.
But after having read a few recent opinions, it seems this Brewiser liquid brewing sugar, might best be avoided??

In reference to the Brewiser question... Could the bad effects of it by offset by the addition of 250 or 500 grams of honey or something similar?
Or is it just a product best avoided?

Got my Coopers home brew kit for Christmas. The stout will be my 4th brew overall. The first was a Coopers Lager (supplied with the kit) I have only 4 bottles of this left but it has improved out of sight in the last few weeks.
Fellow brewing friends (relatively inexperienced brewers also) have been very positive in their comments on the lager, while another preferred the bitter.
The Lager seemed 'gassier' than the bitter.
Would that be because the Lager was in the plastic bottles as opposed to the glass bottles. And therefore, maybe sealed better, evn if only slightly?
Or would that be because I use carbonation drops (for ease) and the 740 ml plastic bottle is slightly smaller than the 800 ml glas bottles used for the Bitter?
Or is this a charecteristic of the two different styles of beer?

The second was a Coopers Bitter. And, like someone else mentioned on another thread, I was surprised as to how dark it was.
The head retention wasn't great but very happy with the bubbles and the taste. I have maybe 6 bottles of this left.

After that I put down a Coopers Pale Ale. Just as the kit said I used Brew Enhancer 2.
This has now been in the bottles for almost 2 weeks but I am yet to taste it.
Unfortunately with this one, I made the stupid mistake of leaving the tap open while I added the initial kit/water/sugar and lost some of the good stuff onto the floor.
Hoping that didn't dilute it to much.

Yes have done the Coopers Stout used Coopers Brewenhancer 2 . Not a lover of this type of Beer but turned out bloody great. Great for those Winter nights watching the footy.

As with the Draught I would use Brewenhancer 2 again as I did it with just your normal CSR brewing sugar and it lacked head retention but it was still a nice drop.

i personally would avoid the brewiser liquid sugar.. from memory it's maize starch yeah?.. which i assume is just another fancy name for dextrose? i don't really like using dex because of the cidery taste it imparts on the brew.. i mean you could probly get away with using a small amount of it but its awkward to measure out/store due to it being a liquid.. thats just my 2 cents anyways
