Methods, ingredients, advice and equipment specific to all-grain (mash), partial mash (mini mash) and "brew in a bag" (BIAB) brewing.

Buying Bulk Grain

Post by Tickstar »

Have been researching all grain brewing (so much good info on here) but was wondering where people in Sydney got their bulk grain from? Any recommendations?

Thanks

I get mine from Marks Homebrew in Newcastle, not Sydney I know but great value.
You can get it from ESB in Sydney if they are still operating.

Of course, there is always Ross (CraftBrewer), who you may wish to consider.

I placed my first order with him today, so I can't yet *totally* recommend him (not having received the goods), but consider that nobody speaks poorly of him and his prices are as competitive as I have found. To date, the process has been quite painless.

The trick would be to adjust your purchase amount to ensure you cover the shipping costs.
No Mash Tun. No Chill.

Problem on BULK grain is he's in Sydney, postage would be costly.

But Ross is great to deal with. 8)
