Lagering

Hello all,

I've just brewed a lager and bottled it yesterday. It was brewed using W-34/70 yeast and given the hot weather, I could only keep the temperature down to about 17c. I only have the one fermenter so I wasn't able to rack and cold condition the beer in a secondary.

I was wondering though, is there any benefit to cold conditioning the beer after it has been primed and bottled? Will it generally have the same effect as cold conditioning the secondary and the bottling?

Thanks.

It won't be the same as if you'd done it in secondary, but it will still definitely be beneficial.
