What to do with over carbonated batch ?

Gday Guys,
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to deal with an over carbonated batch.
I 'maybe' added a little bit more sugar than usual to bulk prime
cos I wanted a nice refreshing lager, but the grolsch bottles go off like champagne when opened and it's got the mouth feel of schweppes dry ginger ale.(nice taste though)
I'm thinking I should maybe recap all my bottles, I'm hoping this will alleviate the problem and maybe stop any bombs down the track (bottled about a month now).
Any ideas or known fixes out there ?
Thanks
