Have a few beers waiting for me in the fridge at home. This is my 2nd brew ever which is ready to drink.
Coopers Canadian Blonde
1 KG BE1
500GMS LDME
I am really looking forward to it. This will be the first home brew I have ever tried that is not made with a KG of sugar. My old man used to make them and i wasnt fussed on them at all.
My first one from the kit which was the Lager and the brewing sugar was pretty drinkable. Much better than a VB or a New but not the best beer I have ever tasted.
I have in the fermenter at the moment
Coopers Traditional Draught
1.5 KG Liquid Wheat Malt
2 x sachets of cascade yeast boiled for 10 mins
2 x mixing spoon of honey
Safale S04 Yeast (I think)
Will bottle this one on the weekend as it has been in the fermenter for 2 weeks now.
Hopefully these will taste great.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here. Great advice and great recipies. I can see this hobby providing me with many many years of happiness.
