Went there last night.

Definately can't go wrong with this one. If anyone's interested, here are my faves:
Mathilda Bay Alpha Ale - loadsa hops in this one but very nice. Don't know if they count as a micro given they're basically CUB, but anyway...
Jamieson Mountain Ale - Fantastic dark wheat (dunkel?) made with roasted wheat malt and crystal wheat malt.
3 Ravens Wit: Not far off a Hoegaarden but a bit more spicy.
Emerald Hill Wheat: Strong German wheat (5.5%) but quite tart and very refreshing
What's Brewing Amber - Lovely full bodied ale with a honey aftertaste (from the Cara malts apparently)

Sorry to cut in but you reminded me of this.
Went here when travelling a few years back, was too young to appreciate the beer properly but it was still bloody awesome. Still got my pint glass from it in the cupboard.

I went last night as well and agree with you Timmy, those are some nice beers.
I had mixed feelings about the What's Brewing Amber though. The aroma promised so much dark caramel that the taste didn't deliver IMO. Still very drinkable, but had to take a deep breath through the nose as I drank to get any flavour

The standout for me was by far the Mountain Goat Double IPA. Had to go back for another tasting after the first. Wow. Loads of hop (the guy said Amarillo and Simcoe?) but pretty well balanced and easy to drink.

Didn't try their double IPA. I wasn't impressed with their normal IPA so didn't bother.
The 'Beast IPA' from one of the other breweries was nice, though.

I was having a chat with one of MG's brewers and told him that I'd done a pretty good clone of their Hightail and he was most encouraging.

It was also good to have the brewers speak openly about their ingredients and methods - I asked about the hops used in quite a few of the brews and they were happy to tell me.

Yeah I asked about a few and they were more than willing to tell. It was good to see the brewers came themselves rather than sending the PR people or hired bar staff.

The Beast IPA was also quite nice. Probably more of a sessional than the MG Double.

That was a mistake. They're completely different, and the double IPA is about a million times better.
