KAM - Fruit flavored beers?

Anyone tried any of those?
KAM is the brand, they do an assortment of fruit flavored beers, althou i only know of strawberry and lemon for sure. This is actually what 1st got me interested in the idea of mixing fruit juice in secondary.
regardless of that thou, the lemon is rather sickly looking yellow green color and the strawberry is not surprisingly strawberry colored which makes me think that they must have a helluva lot of coloring.
I'v only seen ads, never actually tried one (or seen in the flesh)..

A good fruit beer is a hard thing to do. A good commercial one is even harder.
Without having tried any KAM ones, I'd suggest that they might be trying to make them similar to bacardi breezers or something. Maybe that's just my scepticism with regard to acronymic 'brewers.'

Guess I'll just have to keep on trucking along.
FWIW I don't think a fruit beer is any harder to do than a regular beer.

The trick is getting a good balance of fruit to base beer. That's the hard part.

Is it just me or does the fruit flavour dissipate with age?
My strawberry I did, which I love, lost the "berry" flavour and aroma after a while.

Yeah Boonie. Fruit beers seem to have a shortish shelf-life. About 3 months I recon before the fruit flavours really drop off.

On a related note, I tried the raspberry pale ale from Jamieson brewery at the showcase in Fed square and it was quite nice....

Yes chris. , but I think that's a little unfair to Chris, his comment was reasonable even if he hadn't tried it. I don't think he was post whoring.
