Good result for you, blandy.
But the Newcastle flogging was particularly sweet for me
They just went to water and started making excuses as well.

I'm from Newcastle and I don't go for them.

Reason: Some of their fans have 2 heads. At a Brisbane/Newcastle game years ago, a kid 10-12 years old was spat upon by a Newcastle supporter.

The game I went to, I copped verbal abuse non-stop, was quite funny the jibes actually  .

That's was grand, because we won and I gave it back to them two-fold after we won.......

Very un-novacastrian like for me to say that.

Cheers

I was at that game that day. Some big boofheaded bloke in front of me kept screaming out " Gaaaarrrn yer back doorin bastard".
We never had a clue what he was on about.
 Now it all comes together.

Appalling performance by the ref, too. We should have won.

Canberra supporting living near Newcastle territory and I wouldn't change a thing.

Newcastle isn't a bad team. They tend to keep out of the headlines and place a nice style of footy (except over the weekend) but their supporters are just wankers. My ex's family were a prime example

I stopped going to Energy Australia after I was spat on at the Canberra and Newcastle game a few years ago. It was in front of a security guard who ignored me so needless to say we took matters into our own hands

Uncheers,

Mick

I went to a trial match in 2001 between Parra and Knights, it was at Maitland.

I had abuse thrown at me and they were abusing the ref in a freaking Trial match. Penalties in front they all tapped the ball and ran and it was like touch footy, great game :D shit crowd  ....wankers. 36 all was the scoreline and I copped it all the way out the exits.

I am a proud Novacastrian but Knights supporters are a different breed, some of them I should add. I know some nice ones.

In 2000 there was 2 weeks of people telling their horror stories in the local Newcastle Herald, and these were only the ones who came forward.

Loyal supporters, yep they are, nice to visitors and opposition, no they are not.

Bring back the biff Green Horn

It looks like you draw abuse at football matches like a duck`s drawn to water. :(
I wouldn`t attend anymore games if I were you. Too risky.

Maybe I should stop calling Andrew Johns a wanker  kidding, I actually called him an actor........Ah I remember now, I actually said "Give him an Academy Award"......ahhhh the memories.

I have been to a Knights game since and I did not cop any abuse
The tickets were free from my mate who died 3 weeks ago, now I'm sad........He was a good bloke

I prefer a Newcastle Jets (Soccer) to a footy game now, more exciting IMO.

I have to agree ryan, there is a common denominator in the abuse
