Lagering is really only true lagering when it's done in bulk.

So do you transfer it a second time after it has finished in the secondary fermentor or so you just put the secondary fermentor in the fridge when it has finished?

Either, i transfer again into a lagering cube ( water container) but others just leave in secondary, both are fine

I rack it again, simply to free up a fermenter. Plus the gerry cans fit in the fridge more efficiently as far as space.

When you say water containers do you mean like those 12 litre bottles of spring water at Woolies and such?

I would love to find a cheap way to lager my beer in the fridge but it would have to be a fairly efficent cube size as my fridge is only 500 cubic litres!

you might be getting your metrics wrong again-500 litres is a bloody big fridge.

I meant it to come off tongue in cheek. I know it is pretty big ;)

But it can never hold enough lager IMHO :P

What is the best "cube" to use as far as space saving and usable as well?
