This recipie I call "Harry Porters Honey Pot" or JK Rollings meets AA Milne right munkey?

2 kilos pale malt
2 kilos liquid LME
500 g Chocolate Malt
500 g Crystal Malt
500 ml honey
1 oz Galena Hops (60 min in the boil)
1 oz East Kent Goldings (final 15 min)
.5 oz Tettnager (final min)

So guys I got this brew going a bit ago and did a racking to get it off the sediment and bring it all together in 23 L carboy this weekend (Long Story, just accept that on occasion I have to do this)

I have to tell you, if you try no other beer and are interested in getting into grains give this a go. Just amazing. Will drink this while reading the Half Blood Prince.

What volume did you boil for this Dogger? My first experiment with grains was a success so it may be time to go again.

I added the honey same time as the malt which was at the begining of the boil.

I mashed this to be 12 Litres worth of hot liquor for the boil.

I made this again.

Tasty Drop. I am thinking folks are thinking it is brewed to 12 litres. No, The extraction is to 12 litres, boiled and then brought up to 23 for fermenting
