Pouring pressure

Post by Tipsy »

Just wanting to know what pouring pressure everyone is using.
I've just started kegging and forced carbed using the "Ross method"
It is probably a little undercarbed, and I have been pouring at about 15psi.

The reason for the question is that I've been talking to my brother in law (Owns a pub) and he pours at 40psi.
I'm assuming that it is because of the length of his beer line.

So what pressure do you pour at?

As far as i know its more because of the temp of the beer, the warmer it is the more preasure needed ( just what ive been told ) cos alot of pubs would use like a temprite system instead of cool rooms.
