i have just been drinking some coopers origional pale ale and sparkling ale. Was wondering if i were to clone either of them, would i go the coopers stuff in the supermarkets with the white labels, or the ones with thomas cooper and a pic of the beared old chump? (talking about the kit beer)

is there much difference in them?

Go with the green tin for the pale ale, and the bearded bloke for sparkling.

Make as per instructions (i.e. with malt or Cooper's brew enhancer). You can always make adjustments next time.
