Fun with CO2!!!

Post by Chris »

Now that I've cleaned off the ceiling...

Just racked my brown ale, and wanted to give it a shot of CO2 to reduce the potential for oxidation...

Take CO2 bottle into room where racked beer is. Hold CO2 bottle up so that hose will reach in to fermenter. Put hose into fermenter. Turn on tap. Turn off tap. Wipe down walls and ceiling. Have shower. Hold up CO2 bottle again. Turn on tap- this time turning the regulator down below 40psi beforehand...
A beer in the hand is worth two in George Bush...
