My wife and daughter like corona and bought me a can for christmas. Does anyone dress it up to give a good beer?

I assume you mean the Coopers Mexican Ceveza kit?

I would use the kit, 1 kilo of dextrose, and 250g Corn Syrup. That is about as close as you will get without alot of stuffin around IMHO.

I'd do the can plus 1kg Coopers Brew Enhancer 1.

Costs alot more? Though I guess you could go 500g Dex, 250g LDME, and 250g Corn Syrup if you wanted (I believe that is what BE1 is?)

Don't think so; it's pretty cheap at the supermarket. If you want, you can substitute the equivalent:

BE1 = 750g dex, 250g maltodextrin (corn syrup)
BE2 = 500g dex, 250g LDME, 250g maltodextrin

The International Series Mexican Cerveza is an ale/lager blend

So, the answer is no. A stable temperature is the most important thing, whether it be 10°C or 27°C. Because it's a blend, the yeast is capable of being used at either lager or ale temperatures.

^^ agreed to a point.. the thing is, fermenting too warm will make the beer more fruity. the cooler the better to a point. *aim* for 18c as a ballpark, but if you can't get that low, it's better to just keep it constant than pack it in ice once a day.

Seriously, you will get good advice here from many of the regular contributors. I agree with all that's been said so far.

Add some Cascade hops using the dry hopping method.

Will give a nice citrussy aftertone.
