I was pissing myself laughing when Simmo knocked that idiot to the ground, good on him. It's wankers like that who put the players out of focus and it's even worse when it is such an important game . I'm dissapointed that he might get charged for assult and I hope Cricket Australia stands by him, as i'm sure everyone else does.

The bloke ran right at him, granted he did not do much to get out of the way...

I doubt any charges will be pressed, I am sure the guy was well and truly intoxicated and will be so embarrassed by the whole thing he will just want it to go away.

I suppose he could always argue self defence if it did go any further, it's not like he chased the bloke to get him

They just had an interview with the guy, he had a good laugh about it and admitted he was nearly blind when he did it. He said he never thought about the impact on the players concentration and sounded sincere in his apology. Surprisingly enough he was a half way decent bloke and did not have a mullet, flanny, or stubbies on!

Yeah when she asked him if he had considered streaking at the footy he said something about Simmo being big enough and not wanting to mess with those blokes! Can't blame him myself, Tony Greig mentioned Simmo's size as well, and he is no small bloke himself

Maybe the next time someone wants to streak they'll make sure that it is Ponting and Clarke at the crease.

I would wait until the tail enders come in ( not a long wait these days) they cant swing the bat as hard
