Light dried malt/Dark dried malt.

What is the difference. I am making wassa'a honey porter and I accidently bought the light stuff not the dark. Will there be much difference?

Yep. It'll still work, it just won't quite be a porter.

DDME is just LDME plus some specialty malts. You can simulate the same thing by adding some crystal and roast barley. Say 250g crystal and 80g roast barley might be a good staring point, tho every extract manufacturer probably has a different recipe.

Go ahead and make it, it'll be fine, just won't be quite as dark and roasty, but it'll probably still be delicious.
