Should beermakers smell like this?

After an extended absence from homebrewing,I have found a new interest in this rewarding pastime ,the main reason being the cook has been on my back about the price of commercial beer, and, so far ,HB tastes a whole lot better. My first effort was a Coopers Real Ale,brewed back in january during the hot spell. It turned out great. The second was a Coopers Bitter. It turned out just as good, although it took a little longer to carbonate.I used 1KG of Coopers Dextrose for both of these.During fermentation i would regularly take a sniff from the airlock just to make sure everything smelt alright and smelt like beer and it did.My latest attempt is a Beermakers Draught that i put in two days ago (Good Friday). This time I used a brew booster=dextrose500g-maltodextrin250g-light malt-250g,and also used Safale s-04 yeast, this time however,i have noticed upon a smell test that it has a somewhat fruity aroma which to me doesnt seem quite right.Should I be concerned? Is this normal?
