Hi everyone just picked up a tin of Morgans Golden Saaz Pilsener 1st time have heard some good things about this one, was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good K & K recipe along the lines of a Pilsener brew.

I was thinking the tin with 1 kg of Liquid Malt some extra Saaz hops and SAF-04 Yeast or Muntons Gold Yeast how's this sound, any variables and what will this turn out like if possible ???

The way I'd go about it is 500gm of LDME and 500gm dextrose. To me a Pils isn't a big gutsy, malty beer. The malt will give you the mouth feel, but the dextrose will lighten the brew and still give you good alcohol content.

I'd then do some seriouys SAAZ hop additions, say
20gm at 30 mins
20gm at 15 mins
15gm at 5 mins
15gm at flame out and then dry hop 15gm.

IMHO this kit needs the additional hops, but then again when it comes to Pils and Saaz I am a hop head.
