Rotten Egg / Dead Rat Smell

G'Day Guys,
First of all let me say "Hi" I have been browsing around here for a while and there is great information on here so thank you all.
I have put down my 4th or 5th brew on Monday night and I got home yesterday and the house smelt like rotton eggs. So I aired the house out etc checked the bin thinking it was in there. Went out for dinner with the Mrs and got home and the house smelt again. She said it was a combo between rotton eggs and a dead rat. It turned out to be coming from the fermenter.
I moved it out to the laundry and checked on it again this morning and it still smelt the same.
Looks as though fermentation is underway. Fairly big frothy head, moisture under the lid.
Does it sound as though it is dead? Never had this happen before. Only ever been able to smell a nice beer kind of smell during fermentation. I am always very careful with cleaning and sanatizing.
Ingredients were:
Cooper European Lager + Kit Yeast
1KG Ultrabrew
500Gms Light Booster
2 x 12Gms Hallertau Hop tea bags
Should I tip it out and start again?
Any thoughts would be appreciated
