Can you leave a brew in the fermenter for too long?
I've been rather busy lately and I place afew brews in my fermenters maybe amonth ago....if not alittle more. They have formed a thickish foam head - are they ruined?
Um I've been stuffing around the house lately and have forgotten about my two brews in the fermenters, they have been in there for about 12 days or so, will it still be okay to bottle?
I've gotta get my hands on some more carbonations drops but if I can't how much raw sugar should I use ...
Yeah I'm trying to work it out that I constantly have brew ready to drink. I've got my hands on a second fermenter so I'll get that cracking and buy myself a whole heap of PET bottles.
It's going to be interesting to taste my first brew! hahahahaha
I currently have a draught (longnecks) bottled and I intend on giving it a hit next weekend....By that time it'll have been in the bottles for 3 weeks, is that okay? The concentrate tin suggested a minimum of 2 weeks.
Also I have bottled a Lager and I ALSO intend on giving it a hit ...
Ah okay sweet, I took a reading early this morning and it seems to have stopped at 1010....so I'll take it this arvo and tomorrow morning to make sure....if all goes well I'll start to bottle.
