LEFT IN FERMENTER TOO LONG?

G'day Guys,

Can you leave a brew in the fermenter for too long?

I've been rather busy lately and I place afew brews in my fermenters maybe amonth ago....if not alittle more. They have formed a thickish foam head - are they ruined?

They dont really smell off at all :S

Also my last batch tasted rather watery with minimal taste....how can I improve?

Other people seem to be able to ...

Re: READY TO DRINK?

Cheers for the reply buddy.

Yeah I'm trying to work it out that I constantly have brew ready to drink. I've got my hands on a second fermenter so I'll get that cracking and buy myself a whole heap of PET bottles.

It's going to be interesting to taste my first brew! hahahahaha

G'day Guys,

I currently have a draught (longnecks) bottled and I intend on giving it a hit next weekend....By that time it'll have been in the bottles for 3 weeks, is that okay? The concentrate tin suggested a minimum of 2 weeks.

Also I have bottled a Lager and I ALSO intend on giving it a hit ...

30ltr plastic fermenter

G'day Guys,

Anyone know of a brew shop anywhere in sydney that sells the Fermenters w/airlock by themselves?

I've already got one kit and I'd like to just get another container without having to buy another complete kit.

Cheers

YEAST & TEMP

G'day Guys,

These may seem like stupid questions but I'm pretty green to all this.

I am slightly confused as I have several different beer mixtures saying to just sprinkle the yeast over the top (not mentioning to stir in) whilst other say to add the yeast and specifically mention to stir in the ...
