After looking I couldn't find them either. In any case, the posting rules are still implied and seem fairly clear if we look at what posts of late get moderated and which ones don't.

Agreeg without doubt. Just wondering if they had a clause like the following from AHB.

Repeated Breaches

Any member who continues to breach the rules of the site after having content deleted (i.e. reposts deleted material), or receiving a PM warning from a moderator will have their account suspended for 24 hours. Repeat offenses after this will result in a one week ban, followed by revocation of membership.

Yeah, I had been thinking along those lines, too. I must say that Greg must have the longest fuse of any person in the world as had I been a moderator, the ban-hammer would have struck down with great vengeance and furious anger many weeks ago.

Maybe he had him on ignore too

I was hoping someone was going to post a red ale as their best brew ......a tasty little beer I tried this week and raved over! :D

Celtic Red, 5.3% alc/vol.

Originally brewed for Beechworth’s annual Celtic festival, the Celtic Red Ale is now a Bridge Road staple. The Celtic festival is held in november each year and aside from the music, having a few ales is a big part of it.
The Celtic Red Ale is classed as an Irish Red Ale in beer speak. It presents a wonderful deep red hue and a creamy off white head. The Red Ale has a big malty body owing to the use of caramalised malts and roast barley. The flavour is slightly roasted with smooth notes of chocolate, toffee or Jaffa, bringing back childhood memories of the occasional Jaffa that was actually consumed and not just thrown at the back of someone's head. The malts are back up with the use of noble hops to provide a good lick of bitterness. At 5.3% this one is sure to make you merry.

If you dislike the site so much then why do you keep posting here?

I'm neither a dude, nor your brew buddy, nor your forum pal.
So what if we enjoy some friendly, and many times informative, chat on this forum? That's what forums are all about, surely? I can't be brewing every day, I'm retired, after all. I have other things to do, lots of them.
Look up the definition of forum in your dictionary, it's a place of or meeting for public discussion.
If we want to personally interact with brewing friends, we do it through a club or individual brew days.

I think these two (amongst others) confirms it. Speedie's not here to contribute, just staying around to antagonise. :!:

Actually a couple of times I've thought about not posting a brewing question because of speedie's demeaning comments. I'm sure I can't be the only one. This is exactly the reason why I prefer this site to AHB, people of all levels of experience could feel free to ask questions without getting shot down by the "know it alls' as sometimes happens on other sites. It seems you can't do that lately. I've also noticed that there seem to be a couple of people who have stopped coming here because of this rubbish.

+ 1 to all the bullshit..

I think I've currently got about 9 different beers laying around, 6 on tap and at least 3 in bottle. Seems I DO some brewing after all

Anyone with a cracker of a red ale up there with their best is welcome to post it and actually contribute unlike others here. Surely someone has brewed 400l's of award winning red ale around here to have the attitude they do?

I gotta say that i love this site and always have but the continuous bitching and arguing is starting to get to me too, not many threads these days where its not going on... Greg i think its time to start bouncing a few out the door, newcommers lately would probably not bother after reading a few of these threads!!!!

I suppose people would replicate if it looked like something they'd like to brew. The thing about this whole brewing business is that we brew to our own tastes.
