I'm looking for the closest substitute for Joe White roasted malt for a Kilkenny recipe!!! Your thoughts?

If its only a small amount they might mean roasted barley.

Even black malt could work in that recipe as i suspect you are using <100g of it for colour.
You can taste roasted malt in kilkenny
