A good Can/Aus Homebrew

Postby Dogger Dan » Thursday Jan 13, 2005 8:08 am

For all of the new folk and some of the old:

I just realized this (most days I am slow but I get where I need to be) but I have a good recipe for a Canadian/Australian Homebrew.

I used:

A can of Coopers Lager
1 kilo Malt extract (Liquid)
750 grams Crystal Malt
500 ml of Canadian Maple Syrup
1/2 oz Hops (your choice) 1/4 boiling, 1/4 aroma

Did a quick and dirty extraction on the Crystal malt in a grain sock while the water was coming to a boil,

Boiled the rest of the goods for 30 min, aroma hops last second

Fermented away

It cleared nice and tastes great.

If you want a quick and easy this will do it.
