I think it should be possible.
Doing a two-can brew of beer presents the problem of excessive maltiness and bitterness. I can't see this being a problem with a two-can cider due to the fact that (a) there's no bittering agent in cider; and (b) the cans of cider (Black Rock at least) are very dry anyway.
So my view would be to give it a go. The worst that can go wrong, in my humble opinion, is that the taste would be verry "appley".
Other thoughts would be welcome, as would anyone questioning my logic, which may be, and probably is, fundamentally flawed.
